N Medical College, Agra, she worked on a DST-sponsored project aimed at improving the diagnostic algorithm of genital tuberculosis. Subsequently, she pursued her PhD in Biotechnology at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, under the prestigious DST-Inspire fellowship. Her doctoral research focused on identifying peptide-based inhibitors against the Chikungunya virus, addressing critical gaps in antiviral therapy.
