Born and raised in Maharashtra, India, Dr. Amrutkar embarked on his academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir’s Pharmacy College in Nashik. Fuelled by a thirst for knowledge and a drive to excel, he furthered his education with a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Sinhgad College of Pharmacy, Pune, followed by a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur.

Throughout his academic pursuits, Dr. Amrutkar demonstrated a keen interest in synthetic organic chemistry and green chemistry, two disciplines pivotal to drug discovery and development. His doctoral research focused on the synthesis and evaluation of novel quinazolinone derivatives, showcasing his proficiency in molecular docking, QSAR studies, and ADMET prediction.

Armed with a solid educational foundation and a thirst for cutting-edge research, Dr. Amrutkar embarked on a distinguished career in academia. He served as an Assistant Professor at Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir’s Samajshri Prashantdada Hiray College of Pharmacy in Malegaon Camp, Nasik, where he mentored numerous students and guided several postgraduate research projects.

His academic journey reached new heights when he assumed the role of Vice-Principal at the same institution, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to academic excellence. Subsequently, he transitioned to the role of In-charge Principal at K.K. Wagh College of Pharmacy in Nashik, where he continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of pharmaceutical scientists.

Beyond his academic responsibilities, Dr. Amrutkar is a prolific researcher with numerous publications to his credit. His research contributions span diverse areas, including the synthesis of pharmacologically active compounds, spectroscopic analysis, and pharmacological evaluation. Moreover, he actively engages in professional development activities, attending conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

Dr. Amrutkar's impact extends beyond the confines of the laboratory and classroom.
